1. Firstly I search in google. Then
I separate 3 view of my robot in photoshop. The view is front view, side view
and back view. Make sure the size is same. I save the image at the
sceneasset. First we must to setting unit setup. Go to
customize,unit setup,system unit scale,cm,metric,cm and change follow the size
image. Then draw plane to enter the robot. To enter the
robot in plane just click ‘M’ for shortcut material editor,bitmap,assign
material,show shaded. Enter the side view also.
2. SHAPE -- STANDARD
PRIMITIVE
A head I use a basic shape, create a sphere from Standard
Primitive. Select modifier,hemisfphere and scalling it. Then sphere convert to
editable poly. Select the area modify and select edit poly at modifier list.
The body I also used a basic shape as cylinder.
MODIFY, EXTRUDE
This part I
use line to tracing my robot. Then, using Modify selection, choose extrude and scale in
the selected area.
BEVEL AND CHAMFER
I use bevel to my robot. The step is go to vertex,make a
line,connect,editable polygon,polygon and select what we want to bevel.
I use the chamfer to
my robot body. The step is go editable poly,edges,select all then
alt(unselect) for part u don’t want because I make a chamfer at the side
view. so just click the side view.
ROTATE 360
After already finish my robot, I make a base to move my
robot 360. To move the step is (autokey),click key,move until 100,rotate360,angle
snap toogle,autokey,play. The robot will rotate 360.
3. I using texture for my
model. The step is ‘M’ for shortcut material editor,bitmap,diffuse,choose
the color to put into the model,assign material,show shaded. Then drag to
model.
