MODELING MID - YEAR TEST

1)      The first thing that I have to do is to find my reference images to my task is i find it from the Blue print example robot. The reference to my robot is simple, small and cute robot. First, I have to find the robot that I want in Blue print. Second, find the all side view: front, back and side view the robot. Then, before I use the reference to my 3Ds Max, I have to cut the reference to three different side to make easier to use in 3Ds Max. To cut it, I use the photo shop and then adjust the colour and make it dark than the original colour.



2)      Method 1:

For my robot I used the basic shape in the standard primatives,for example I used the sphere to make head and body for my robot. And then, I also drag it to the oval shape for the head and body.


           Method 2:

        The second method that I used is I used the extended primitive for shape for my eyes  of my robot.   
        To make the eyes look  naturally and suitable for my robot, I use the rotate tools and drag it to the  
        head of my robot.


Method 3:


I also use the modify  to modified my robot. For example, I use the edit poly to make the robot look different from the original and I drag it out and in to make the eyes.




3)      The texture my robot is I use the simple texture only. I used the wireframe ad used the material editor. But it still look smooth and simple texture.  To make the texture, I use the modify and then used the smooth texture for my robot.

1)      After  the robot finish,used the material editor.
2)      Ten, I used the modify tool.
3)      Then, I choose the smooth texture and then apply it to my robot.

4)      Then,  I used the wire frame too.
