Modeling a Robot Tutorial.

The Process

1.   Modeling a Head






 a.      Create a line from Splines selection. This will be the model basic                 shape for its head. 

 b.      The head components are create by using Splines selection such as               Line and using standard object such as Cylinder to create a eye.
              Then, combine two Cylinder to create the eye.

      c.      Next, the eyes will be duplicate/clone by right clicking on the                   object or by simply use CTRL+C  and paste CTRL+V.                                    


2. Modeling a body





a.    The bodies components are create by using Splines selection such as     Line. Select the shape of the body based on the  reference then    select Yes to close the spline.



         

b.    Then select all the line after that right click then choose connect to     connect all the point of line.

c.    Then, go to the Modifier List and then choose Extrude to extrude the    shape of body.

  d.    After that ,adjust amount and the segment at the Parameter to get
         the perfect body shape.


3. Modeling a hands

  


     
     a.   The hands components are create by using Splines selection such as              Line. Select the shape of the hands based on the reference then                select Yes to close the spline.

          b.   Then select all the line after that right click then choose connect                to connect all the point of line.

          c.   Then, go to the Modifier List and then choose Extrude to extrude                the shape of hands.
        
          d.   Second part are created by using Cylinder and Sphere( joint). Then            combine all part to create the hands. 

          e.   Using mirror to get the right hands.


  4.     Modeling a Legs





         a.     Legs part are created by using Cylinder and Sphere( joint) and                    using Line.
        
         b.     Some of the part were edit by using Editable Poly.






   5.   Accessories (bag) 




                              
           a.    Basic object used is Box and use in Insert and Extrude.
