I choose this robot model as a reference for my modeling in 3ds max. Front view and side view was needed for build this robot in 3ds max.

Modeling Legs

1. I choose to use line for build the robot legs in 3ds max.
2. To make a line we should click Create à Shape à Line.
3. After that click at image and follow the shape of legs. Then Right Click à Connect à      Modifier List à Extrude

               4. After the line we create change to the shape we must make 
                   the shape in opacity. To make sure the object in opacity mood 
                   Right Click à Object properties à see through à ok.
              5. Next step convert image to editable poly 
                   ( Right Click à Convert to à Editable Poly).
              6. Then adjust the shape using point  until the shape look like legs.

 Modeling Body

1.       Use line again for model the robot body. The step same like creating legs of robot.
2.        First Click Create à Shape à Line.
3.       After that click at image reference and follow the shape of body. Then Right Click à Connect à Modifier List à Extrude. 
4.       Make sure the object in opacity mood (Right Click à Object properties à see through à ok). This step easy for us to adjust the object after convert to editable poly.
5.       Then adjust the shape using point  until the shape look like body same like image reference.

 Modeling  hand
1.       To model the robot hands i choose to use cylinder. This will be the model basic shape
 for its hands. 
2.       First click cylinder at standard primitives selection.
3.       Then drag cylinder at image reference. 
4.       After that make sure the object in opacity mood (Right Click à Object properties à see through à ok).

1.       Next step convert image to editable poly ( Right Click à Convert to à Editable Poly). Then adjust the shape using points until the shape look like hands same like image reference.
2.       To make another hands click mirror.

Modeling Head
1.       Use sphere to create robot head.
2.       Click sphere at standard primitives selection then drag sphere at image reference. 
3.       After that use the same step of creating hands.


   Set the color of robot.

Setting the lighting.

        Once the Lighting setting was, the final output of a render image was created.
